junkyardjeff Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 Picked up a big lot of built 60s models last year and this might be the last of the savable 40s and newer, picked up a partially built 60s 49 on eBay that should have all the missing parts and will post pics when the parts arrive. Next will be going through all the AMT 32s,Ts and As to see what is salvageable. 1
junkyardjeff Posted March 31, 2024 Author Posted March 31, 2024 Here is the one I am going to save, not sure on the direction but will most likey be a mild custom, the parts I have coming have a nice set of spinner hub caps and a tube grille. 1
junkyardjeff Posted March 31, 2024 Author Posted March 31, 2024 Hood is glued shut and the rear end is mounted to the frame with no springs but do have a unused bare frame and the parts model has all the suspension parts needed.

Great looking body and the missing B Pillar reminds me of something I tried when this kit long ago. You could use just about any leaf spring rear end from another kit or even make a four-link rear.
junkyardjeff Posted December 29, 2024 Author Posted December 29, 2024 Paint needs to come off and have unused parts to rebuild

junkyardjeff Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Starting to look like something now. 1
junkyardjeff Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Getting close to finished and it's all 60s parts, just need to do some grinding on the radiator to fit with the custom grille section on the body.
thatz4u Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Looks period correct, there were a lot of Ford-allacs back then
