T-Ray
I bought this kit from a swap meet for $5 and let me tell you, it feels weird building a kit from (and started in) 1974. It even had a tube of glue from the time! I don't know what the kid was going for when he started, but I'm gonna finish it as a stock panel. Day 1: This is about as far as he got... Glued the heads on Glued the seat together And lastly, there's the seams in the front and the (wrong) taillights in the back that I took care of
T-Ray
Day 2: I primed a lot of small stuff, wheels and wheel backs, dash, etc I filled in the taillight holes, I think they need spot putty though Painted the engine and I am VERY happy with how it came out Lastly, I tried putting magnets in the spare tire panel as a way of attaching the hatch without glue

Sounds like I'm in for a double challenge! The kid shaved the center hood trim off so I got a hood from a glue bomb Three Stooges van. Surprisingly, the fit isn't too bad for the two being forty years apart.
bobss396
I have made the center hood trim from half round plastic stock. I have a bunch of these kits on-hand.
