Great job!  I am old enough and was fortunate enough to see the Big John Willys and the SWC Willys match race at my local drag strip in about 1965.  You got it right!!

Awesome Willys! That's the best looking amt Willys I've ever seen. At first glance I thought it was the revell Willys :D.

Yup, one of the best builds of the AMT Willys I've seen yet...especially nice job fitting the flip nose that nobody ever gets right.  :)

Very nice!

Thank You All for your feedback and thanks to those that left a “like “!

I did a few things to correct some of the issues with the AMT Willys…

1.  Move the front axle 2/3mm forward to center the front wheels in the wheel wells.

2.  Smooth out the “peak” on the top of the front fenders.

3.  Delete the pins on the chassis that locate the interior tub/body so you can locate the body to properly align it with the tilt front end.

4.  On this build I also added tinted side windows, larger slicks from Speed City Resin, and the Hemi.

Those modifications were 100% needed. If I build one I will definitely follow your advice.
