use one of the online uk number plate suppliers(the registation plate is often called a number plate on this side of the pond0 and they will generate a pic of how your plate will look. just save the pic and print it on decal or photo paper. this one seems good.

Trevor, It is the Tamiya 7 modernized as a track day car. Wide wings (fenders) slicks, Large front and rear wings (airfoils) and a Mazda triple rotor.  Should be done in a couple of weeks and then I will try to figure out how to post pictures.

You shouldn't even have to make a decal.  Just print it out on paper, cut it out and attach it to the model.  If you use photo quality paper, it will even have glossy surface.
