martsky Posted April 30, 2024 Posted April 30, 2024 Any old British TV fans of the Prisoner? I need at least two decals or number plates (white on black) for my latest hare-brained scheme. BCNU Marty
Bainford Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 Could you use white transfer letters on a black decal? And if you are building a Lotus, I hope you show it to us.
stitchdup Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 use one of the online uk number plate suppliers(the registation plate is often called a number plate on this side of the pond0 and they will generate a pic of how your plate will look. just save the pic and print it on decal or photo paper. this one seems good. https://numberplates4you.com/vintage-number-plates-vintage-registration-plates/
martsky Posted May 1, 2024 Author Posted May 1, 2024 Les, thanks for the website info. Trevor, It is the Tamiya 7 modernized as a track day car. Wide wings (fenders) slicks, Large front and rear wings (airfoils) and a Mazda triple rotor. Should be done in a couple of weeks and then I will try to figure out how to post pictures. 2
peteski Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 You shouldn't even have to make a decal. Just print it out on paper, cut it out and attach it to the model. If you use photo quality paper, it will even have glossy surface.
