mrm Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Hi all. Last year at Heartland nationals in June there was a vendor at the show. A pretty nice chatty young man with a hat, right next to the Fireball table. He was selling some great 3D/Resin wheels and some were even available chromed. Had some pretty cool engines too. Most of his stuff sold out like right away. Can someone tell me what the name of the company was? Website? Contact info? Any help would be appreciated. It's the guy with the hat on the picture and his parts are circled. Thanks in advance.

I think I bought some of his wheels last year myself, but as I remember they were in unmarked zip lock bags and looked more like a small diameter or even a low rider style wheel. Great looking finish on them.
Zoom Zoom Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 His name is Ben aka Benjamin LeGrand and he's from Colorado. If you're on Facebook he's on there; I'm not sure what he might have been vending at that show, he comes to the ACME show almost every year but I don't remember if he's been a vendor or not.

The ones I got are definitely NOT low rider stuff and I can honestly say they are the absolute best quality 3D printed wheels I have ever seen. I remember he had some also plated and when I asked who does the plating, the response was "I can't tell you, because they don't want their name out, but they used to do the plating for the Revell production kits". The only reason I'mm looking for him is because I want more of his stuff. Edited May 25, 2024 by mrm 1

Thank you Bob. I intend on attending the ACME show this year, so maybe I can run into him there. 1

BTW your name looked familiar, I approved your request to join the ACME page early today, Ben is on the ACME page so if you post the photo/tag him I'm sure he could get in touch with you. He's a super nice guy and he's been to our show most every year. 1

I sort of recall something similar at our show but sold by another vendor, is it possible he was helping another vendor or do you know if it was his own product line?
