Milner's Coupe: Buckets or Bench?

Just wondering. The mpc/ amt ertl release has buckets and they don't look right.

Bench.  The MPC kit is based on their Switchers series kit.  Some new parts were created to make the Milner car, but only enough to get the kit into the ballpark.

I believe it should be a bench. At one point she tries to slide over next to Milner, and he says “ you’ve got just two seconds to get your a** over in your corner”.??
