ewetwo Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Latest build. Revell Corvette Indy “Dream Machine”. I like to think the Corvette Indy was what replaced the Aerovette. 7
70 Sting Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 That’s cool.? I picked up one of these at an antiques/hobby shop a few months back. Any issues with the build?
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Super sharp. Didn't know that a kit of the car existed.
espo Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Can't remember how long it has been since I have seen either one of these built up here. The paints bright flakes really standout and the finish looks nice and smooth. I like the bubble top and the exposed engine. Both of these are great looking builds.
ewetwo Posted June 7, 2024 Author Posted June 7, 2024 Thank you Harry, Robert, Jim, EMRE and David. Harry. I had issues fitting the front glass on and connecting the body to the chassis. . I had to trim about an 1/8th of an inch off the bottom interior doors and dash to get it to fit. It was an open kit. Maybe warping? 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Wow, they look like two museum pieces ready for transport!
XYHARRY Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Nice Indy there David, I like the colour. Well done on both models. Cheers, David. M ??
