As an aside from actually working on a model, like the Rat Trap, the deuce Tudor, either dually truck...

I like to play with, and put to work, various types of petrol lighters. Here are a few to lead off with.

1963 Zippo Slim with AT&T engraving.

Aluminum case Park, one of my favorite ad lighters. You can understand the connections to stuff like Harleys or booze, but stuffing? They lack the finesse of other makes of lighters, but a very easy unit to work with. Not a great user, the lid just sort of falls open and they tend to evaporate pretty quickly.

On the other hand, the Rowenta Snip is a heck of a piece. The most beautiful automatic action you'll find out there, always lights, and a huge sealed fuel tank. German engineering!

Feel free to contribute if you're so inclined to such things.

When wrecking my lungs was as much a part of my daily routine as wrecking my liver, I was rarely without a Zippo.

Cool little devices, ever so much cooler than wimpy butane lighters.   B)

I don’t recall where I picked this one up, but I’ve had it a long time.
