Beautifully done Kustom body work and paint. The interior style and the way you got all the half rounds lined up look great.

Thanks! The half rounds are a bit tricky to line up! I cut them all to length the best I can first. I sand/file all the ends so that they have that 'sewn down' look before gluing them into place. Inevitably, they are not all exactly the same and the edges need some finetuning with an xacto and file after they're all glued down. Once that is done and the interior pieces are painted, the spark plug wire is then glued down along the edge which hides some of the inconsistency. It's still not perfect lol but I find that it's tough to see everything clearly inside the car anyway so it usually works out ok to my eyes ?

Very impressive custom!

Thank you! I always wanted to try my hand at building a 59 Impala or Camino custom. So many ideas....so little time lol

This is just so cool. I love the simple single plain scallop coming from the wheel well. It's just perfect. Great job.

Thanks! I don't think scallops need to be complex to make an impact. Good design goes a long way ?

Thank you! It has it's problems but my idea and vision did come to fruition with this build ?

Bitchen El Camino, Ferby! Perfect rendition of a '60s wild Kustom.

Thanks man! I'm a huge fan of the 'golden era' style of customs and I stayed before the 1960 dateline for picking subject matter. But before this build I ventured into the early 60's custom style for the first time by customizing a 62 Belair. It was alot of fun so I thought I'd try another one! ?

Thank you! It's one of the rare times where the ideas in my head actually work out in the real world lol

Excellent build. Some very tasteful customizing in that one.

Thanks! It's all about good taste when it comes to customizing, right? ? Change for the sake of change without regard to good design makes less of an impact I think.

Gorgeous custom. Lovely style and great paint. Love the lines.

Thanks! The 59 Impala and El Camino have always lent themselves to customizing pretty easily I felt ?

Extraordinary build! Great chop and I love the front treatment! Very well done!

Thanks! I wanted to try something different with the front end that still looks traditional and era correct. The Chezoom grill bar worked well for this goal I thought ?

That is sweet... I'd love something like that. Very nicely done

Thanks! Yeah me too ? Prices for 1:1 59 El Caminos show how they are highly prized these days. Probably a good thing because if I could afford to own one I would surely ruin it by cutting it up much like this! ?

Thank you! With customs it's all about the lines isn't it.... ??
