No, I can see that the decal is in the right orientation, with the instrument panel shape being what it is. But it looks to me that they printed the gauges upside down, or reverse? Or is it just my old eyes?

Well...good thing is it won't be that noticeable once assembled. 1
DJMar Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Oh wow, at some point in the printing process, somebody missed that! ? My brain couldn't make sense of the redline on the left side of a gauge. I was scratching my head for a while.

Zippi Posted August 30, 2024 Author Posted August 30, 2024 Well fellows.....typical me when it gets close to the end of a build I start screwing things up. The gas filler neck area that I filled in has failed. Looks like the putty has shrunk and the paint has spider cracks. I guess when I was trying to fit the door panels in the cab I got glue on the PS door. I thought I had the front ride height set but when I did a trial fit the front end is way to low. Also...the hood no longer fits. I can push it in place and it just springs back up. To much paint and clear I'm guessing. I'm not a happy camper this morning. 3

I think we all have been there.
ksnow Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Well, ain't that a kick in the jimmies. If anyone can sort it out, you can. It's looking SO good.
DJMar Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Gah! That is so frustrating. Sorry to hear all that. It seems like this build has been fighting you every step of the way.

Sometimes buildss will fight us all the way, you just got fix the the situations that arise and live with some flaws. No build is ever 100% perfect. Cover the fuel filler area with a decal. You will only see the spider cracks up close. Wet sand and polish out the glue on the door. Make adjustments to the stub axle spindle to reset the front ride height. Grind/dremel the inside of the hood to gain some clearance. Just do what ever it takes to get it done, dont sweat the small issues and move onto the next one.
