Scott Eriksen Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 She's done,,,did some light chalk weathering,,,built up one of Jamie's (Moluminum) 4-71's I had as a rebuilt unit and stuck it on a pallet made from coffee stirrers . Printed out a service manual and put it in the cab. So the back story is circa 1972,,Andy's been a road guy for for 30 years ,,likes it ,,never wanted to be stuck in the shop,,his 65 Ford was up for replacement and he was supposed to get a new one,,but he said no thanks,,,I'm gonna retire with this girl,,,,,and with that he was on his next call to a customer with a rebuilt 4-71 3
Jim B Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 Great job on the truck & the engine. Nice backstory, too. 1
espo Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 Beautiful looking finishes on the body as well as the engine and chassis. Like the addition of the engine on a skid. 1
XYHARRY Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Very convincing display and realistic details, really well done Scott. Cheers, David. ?? 1
Zippi Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 Really nice build there Scott. Nice detail work on the whole truck. That rebuilt diesel engine in the bed looks Super sharp. Fantastic build dude. 1
