Volzfan59 Posted October 21 Posted October 21 (edited) Rain!!! We had rain last Saturday, actually thunderstorms and it’s raining again this morning. I spent last week sewing grass seed over a good amount of dirt work we’ve done at the new place and covering it with a light amount of straw. The good Lord is handling the watering for me. Edit, looks like more rain this weekend! Edited October 21 by Volzfan59 1

TonyK Posted October 21 Posted October 21 Freaky. That spider is translucent. Or maybe just an albino.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 21 Posted October 21 (edited) My front porch was overrun with big garden spiders this year, more than I've ever even seen in one place. Every morning I'd go out and get a new web in the face. I guess they were eating the paper wasps and yellowjackets that built nests out there too. Good spiders. Eat all you want. Though I removed the wasp and YJ nests, there were still plenty of skeeters to feast on. Several much cooler days and 2 nights of 40-degree F temps, spiders all gone. Probably just moved indoors. bobss396 Posted Saturday at 12:41 PM Posted Saturday at 12:41 PM We went out to Montauk this week. It was warm, around 66 F. The lighthouse was not open, the gift shop too. 2
