LennyB Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 This is a project I started some 49 years ago. Although for most of that time it spent life inside a box while I took a long sabbatical from mode building. Recently pushed myself to get back to it as I'm not getting any younger and I think I can declare this one done, or done enough. In a nutshell all that was done back then was the nose swap with the intention of building the rest of the kit stock. But time and improvements in model kits changed those plans. So this turned into a kit-bash with a Lindberg 64 Plymouth using the best of both worlds. If you want to check out the WIP you can find it here. On to the next... 12
XYHARRY Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 Nice Plymouth there Lenny, detail is good and the backdrop is a clever touch. Well done. Cheers, David. ??
LennyB Posted August 19, 2024 Author Posted August 19, 2024 Thanks you all for checking in. I really needed to join this forum to get the push to get this over the finish line. Without the encouragement it would probably still be in the box.?
ClassicDarts Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 (edited) turned out excellent... a lot better than anything I've ever (or could ever have) made, and you're probably the only person on earth that can say "I have a model of a '63 Fury with a '64 Fury front clip" Edited August 21, 2024 by ClassicDarts
STU111 Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 I love black paint with red interior. Nice build, also l love the fact she’s running the “leaning tower of power” slant 6.?? 1

Hope I don't offend those that like the 63 nose.? 1
