BIGTRUCK Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 (edited) It takes a little work and extra parts to get a box art result. The only kit help will be the decals which are pretty good quality. I didnt want to flatten the entire paint so I opted on light weathering from a weathering kit using the dirt and ash on the inside and outside. Tires are resin copies from the Pinto modified ,wheels are kit. Engine and chassis are straight kit except exhaust pipes. Interior is a simple scratch build and body was modified and dropped down. Paint was Tamiya Maroon and Deck Tan. Crash bars made from Evergreen plastic and scraps. Sculpting screen was used for the window mesh. Passenger window area opened wide, hood opened up and sides removed, door handles shaved off and replaced with cable, roof and cowl vent opened up. stavanzer Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 Very Sharp Ride. I miss Fred's Resin Workshop. Good Show.

Horrorshow Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 The color combo gives it a real vintage look…great work!
TonyK Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 I like this. Just the right amount of wear and the paint is decent; not perfect which is the way it should be. Nice work!
Rattlecan Dan Posted September 3, 2024 Posted September 3, 2024 Great job on the ole' mod. Pretty realistic.
