Most of those four door trucks have a tiny little bed. If I can't carry lumber in it then it's not really a truck.

Reminds me of those Honda Ridgelines. Half SUV and half Truck. Not very good as either. I call them a "Suck"

Four door vehicles have their place in the market. Yet, I still have an issue with almost every pickup on the showroom floor being a crew-cab. They are basically a four-door sedan on a truck chassis. I own a 2022 F-150 and it is a four door. Admittedly it does have its benefits, but compared to the 2018 SuperCab I owned it is a bear to park, especially in those parking garages at hospitals, etc. I guess I will eventually get used to it, but as mentioned above "I am not a fan of "electric" Mustangs", especially with four doors.

Yeah I agree with the “Mach-E” Mustang being a stretch; I mean the Mustang has to be the most iconic muscle car, but then turning one electric and making it an SUV is sort of an odd choice. Must be Ford’s way of keeping the Mustang name alive after gas cars become outlawed in the far future, if that is really going to happen.

So order one.

People complain about "having" to buy vehicles they don't want, but refuse to wait for a custom order. It won't cost you any more, and in most cases will cost you less. Typically, dealers don't stock what doesn't sell. As a Ford fleet manager, I can tell you that we (and other area dealers) stock crewcabs and only occasionally bring in the reg cab or Supercab trucks. And they will typically sit and we end up having to discount them to move them. We have a reg cab 2024 F150 here right now. Been here about 2 months. Was ordered in the same spec as the crewcab work trucks we stock, but just sits. Yet the crewcabs disappear. And this reg cab is what people around here claim to want. It's about as basic as it gets. Two doors, 8ft box, V8, 4X4, vinyl floors, no park assist or blind spot monitoring or 360 degree cameras or hands free cruise or power heated seats or any of the other electric add-ons. The only options are AT tires and steps. But we've sold at least a dozen crewcab trucks with the exact same optioning in the time this one has been here. And we get orders for similar crewcabs daily.

It is super easy to order in a regular cab or a Supercab truck. In fact, if you order one, it WILL get build faster and arrive sooner than a Crewcab order placed at the exact same time, and it will save you money. But no one does.

Anyway, back on topic...

People gripe about the 4 door Charger, but forget that this existed for 5 years. Talk about keeping the Charger legacy alive. A 2.2L Hemi monster under that hood. Drives both front wheels.

When I bought mine in 2022 any pickup around here was as scarce as hen's teeth. A dealer down the road had over an acre of white trucks, but they were fleet and he would not sell me one. The truck I have is equipped pretty much the way I wanted, but would have rather had the SuperCab; although the longer bed would have negated most of the length difference. I could have custom ordered one, but from what the dealers were telling me it would be 2-3 months minimum to get it. Yes, I was a bit impatient, but I needed a truck to tow my boat with.

I'd rather have a 2 door Ford pickup with the 8 foot bed..... And a V-8...?

Yeah, it's about 2 months from time of order to vehicle arrival.

A little longer right now, because we're in the switchover to the 2025 model year. Order bank opened today and production starts in November. So the first '25s should be landing at dealers hopefully by Christmas.
