OldTrucker Posted September 1, 2024 Posted September 1, 2024 Just getting started on a tractor for the tank trailer. This thing is going to be a pain to clean up too! It is the recent snow plow release. Lots of parting lines and flash to clean up! Mixed my own cat yellow using testers enamel. Used flat yellow and a few drops of tangerine. Adding pickup rails on the back of the frame. 4
Rockford Posted September 2, 2024 Posted September 2, 2024 We'll have to rename you The Janitor because you're always cleaning up! These old kits come with a cost. I'm sure you'll make a great job of it. 1
gotnitro? Posted September 3, 2024 Posted September 3, 2024 Looking forward to the direction you chose w the Blue Oval 1
OldTrucker Posted September 5, 2024 Author Posted September 5, 2024 A little more done. Getting ready for the white base color. Roof will be same as the top of the trailer, orange thought about blue along the bottom of the cab but the frame is probably enough. 2

Biggu Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 Didn’t want you to think I was a know it all or an arm chair expert. I just love trucks and have had some tome with them. Jeff
Gary Chastain Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Looks very appropriate, well done 1
OldTrucker Posted September 14, 2024 Author Posted September 14, 2024 Decided to keep the exhaust under the frame. Added a little length and a slight turndown. 3

OldTrucker Posted September 23, 2024 Author Posted September 23, 2024 Getting drive wheels and tires done. I use tissues or napkins rolled to keep the tires spread to fit the wheels plus have never had a wheel go flat from sitting. 2

BK9300 Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 Going to be a good looking unit, especially hooked up to your trailer. 1
