curt raitz Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 My buddy Steve sent me a 3D printed resin kit of the Uncertain T in 1/24th scale. I didn't like the tires and wheels that came with it, raided the parts box and came up with some tires and wheels. The front wheels are a set of TruWire 74 wire wheels. Paint was a combination of Testors Oranges and metal flake. It was little tricky getting the chassis to slide into the body. All-in-all it was a fun build. Thanx for lookin' 8
Leo64 Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 That came out nice Curt. I also did a 1/16th scale one for John Teresi, can't wait to see what he does with it. Also, the 3D files were ones sold by Ron Olsen at 3DModelspecialties. Steve A.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 Radical and so much fun to see. One of those cars that has to be seen to explain! Those injector stacks are killer and really make a difference. Wish there was a readily available plastic 1/25 or 1/25 kit.
mrm Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 I was thinking about printing this one myself. It is nice to see built by someone. I am not very familiar with the real car, so isn't the front axle a little narrow or is it supposed to be this way?
XYHARRY Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Very cool, well done Curt. Cheers, David. ??

At first I thought so also, but photos of the original show it having a narrow front end.

That's what I was wondering. it makes sense. I have an article about it in a Rodders Journal, but I don't remember which issue.
