Scott Eriksen Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 Shot the bed ,under reach and associated pieces .What I'm going to do is run hydraulic telescoping feeder tubes to the boom 2nd stage for the under reach ,,using K&S aluminum tubing,running hoses to them and the under reach ,I'll mount them under the winch cable guide bars on top of the 1st (main) stage ,,,just winging it here. Put the rear wheels together with the brake drums . Might start doodling with a light bar mount out of brass rod or something and hit that with Revell chrome once the bed dries,,should have done that before paint but I got ahead of myself

Scott Eriksen Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Some work today.....assembled hyd feeder tubes to boom sections ,shot with another coat of red,,,in the dehydrator now,, painted Brians console and installed,,also painted up the pto and pump .....some more interior details,,thats almost done . Depending upon work schedule next week going for engine install and maybe some decal work on the body 3

Scott Eriksen Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 (edited) Worked a couple hours today,,returned 1117 back to the Queens shop ,,looks like they got a new GM today,,was all spiffed up and it looks like the 2015 ambulances are coming out of service and headed to auction,,,they just take black paint with a roller and paint over the graphics,,,,every time I come there's a few in the dead line Edited January 14 by Scott Eriksen 2
Scott Eriksen Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 ...........and when I got back I assembled the boom..made brass cylinder pins instead of plastic,ran hyd. lines,,,they have to get zip tied yet ,, made the Allison shift pad out of scrap styrene and some decals,,,starting decaling the body 1

Scott Eriksen Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 Did a little more today,after a few hours at work,,had to take a Paramedic truck to University Hospital in Newark,,,,,,,,,,rigged up some CAC piping and hoses,,,started to put CTM hose clamps on ,,,like threading a needle! Rad hoses on too,,,,ran harness from alt and ECM ,,a couple more decals ,,,made the "FLEET SERVICES" on inkjet decal paper and put those on ,,,needs some more Micro Sol and then I'll hit it with clear. Laid the boom on the deck for ya
