The whole underside of this one was cut up pretty good to get these Big ole meats to fit. Paint is Tamiya TS-14 Black and NO clear coat. It was just polished and waxed using McGuire's products. The wheels and tires I lefted off an M2 ket. The Blown engine is from the old Revell kit of the 41 Willy's (1963 Version) Competition Coupe and I wired it. Transmission from from the parts box. Interior and bed cover are painted with Rust-Oleum Satin Nutmeg. The side hood side emblems were sent to me from Kevin H. and I really appreciate it man. I'm a truck guy but I'm not big on the long bed trucks but this one came out pretty nice. Tell me what ya think fellows. Zippi Posted October 3, 2024 Author Posted October 3, 2024 (edited) I got the trailer finished up this morning and I'm happy with how it turned out. I added the storage box up front for the gas cans, tool box, and the lug wrench. I also added safety chains, and relocated the rear tail lights. I didn't care much for the kit hub caps so I found some dog dish hub caps in the parts box. Let me know what ya think fellows. Nice job! Thanks Dan. Yeah, I think the ole boy is going to throw some chains around the axles and hook to the trailer floor and get some bungee cords on those gas cans and tool box before he heads to the track.
ksnow Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 That trailer turned out great. The whole rig looks pretty darn cool. Inspiring work for sure.

Don't forget to cross the safety chains under the tongue of the trailer, it's so if somehow the trailer to truck connection comes apart the chains being crossed make a cradle that can catch the trailer so the tongue can't dig in and make like a pole vaulters pole and put your nice coupe in the bed of your Black Beauty. Not to mention it's law in every state I know of.?
