This is a restoration of an original dealership promotional model from 1959. The chassis, interior, and rear bumper are from the original promo model by SMP of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, USA. The body, glass, and front bumper are reproductions by Round2 made in China. Side mirrors and dual antennas were taken from another model car kit. The tail-lights were made with epoxy. Scratch built side glass and rear view mirror mounted to the dash. Some pics shows the original promo model. I still have the body and can use it as practice to see if I can heat and straighten it, but that thing being made from acetate means it will warp again over time.
