Always,always,show respect to cops..Dont give them a single ounce of lip,and you will be ok..Yes sir,yes officer,no officer..And I have always found it is more so when dealing with cops who were working the 12-8 overnight shift …I know it sucks,but trust me you will be better off.

Tyrants grasping for power, even the petty ones, have always done their best to keep people with decent hearts apart. Human nature has some really horrible elements, and until or unless we evolve spiritually as a species, nothing will get better. External systems of governance or technology alone are insufficient to overcome humanity's destructive tendencies without a corresponding internal moral or ethical transformation.
