I typed in "skeeters, fruit flies, and gnats"

Fruit flies, gnats, and skeeters differ in size, shape, color, and other characteristics:
  • Fruit flies
Small flies with a rounded silhouette, red eyes, and a brown or tan thorax and black abdomen. They are about ⅛ inch long and have shorter antennae than gnats.
  • Gnats
Delicate-looking insects with long wings, spindly legs, and a variety of colors, including brown, black, yellow, or bright. They can range in length from 1 to 13 mm and have small eyes that are hard to see.
  • Skeeters
Can be shot with any gauge shotgun that can fire at least two shots. The preferred shot size is #9, but nothing larger than 7-1/2 should be used.
