Thanks Roger. I'm working on another one that will have a bit more detail. These kits are fairly accurate and lend themselves to detailing...

Great paint finish on your 911. Really well done Alex.

Cheers,

David. ??

Thanks David. One of the keys I found was to keep the airbrush clean. I stripped it twice. Once before applying paint, the second during clear coat. Primer came out of a rattle can.

Hard to beat a well-executed black 930. Very nice indeed.  :D

I'd go just a tick lower with the ride height though.

I have to agree with you. It's probably not that hard with these simplified Tamiya chassis. Easy fix, good observation Bill. Thanks!

Nice job!

And you're right, the pics we get with our phones just don't compare to a real camera.

Suggestion...take your pics outside. Natural light and a real camera give excellent results!

Good advice Dan. I'm going to try. I just bought a new NIKON digital, now I just need to learn how to use it. 🙄

Beautiful Porsche.  Very well done & great photography.

I've never understood that adjective in this context.  Seems like it should be a car with a big knife sticking through it, or all shot to pieces.

Hahaha, thanks. I often say "I can murder a coffee this morning..."

Beautiful job man! That black paint is slick! Black is so hard to paint, I was super nervous when I painted my Foxbody black. Yours looks fantastic.

Thanks Will. I thought the black would bring out the voluptuous shapes. In some ways your Fox was tougher because the flat planes are unforgiving to black. I just did an 80's cutlass. Had to get the surfaces perfect!

Oh yeah in order for black to look good you gotta have the body work done perfectly. You did a fantastic job!
