futurattraction Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 I am working on a Pontiac engine. Not finished with it yet - mostly peripheral pieces to do. I am working on a tripower setup, but also intend to do a single 4V. I need to finish tri-pwr carbs, single 4V intake and carb, a manual trans (which one? preference? And I am planning to do a TH400. In the pics, below, everything shown was drawn in 3D except the valve covers, which are kit repops. 4
DoctorLarry Posted November 19, 2024 Author Posted November 19, 2024 Sweet! Thanks to both for making the attempt to do these. IT is much appreciated (at least by me). 1

Ragtop Man Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 I've cast the Buick engine and underhood parts from the '69 Wildcat to convert the engineless '70 Wildcat in all its releases. Can also be used for the '69 Rivvi to get a TH transmission instead of the kit 4-speed. Runs about 44 pieces last time I counted But the site said the topic is gone... hmmmm... will check back this PM

But as you said it has an incorrect for Rivieras and Wildcats 4 speed trans.

For some odd reason this seems to be a hot topic with this engine most people want me to take power steering off take off this take off that make a race engine but with this engine everybody wants the AC compressor The problem is how fragile and complicated everything will get to do it look at the real engine and think about that in scale. More than anything it's going to be the thinness of the mountains where it mounts on and the belt itself. 1
