Now THAT is awesome. I guess if you can't find and purchase a real one...

And even if you could find a real one, finding a real one that is airworthy would be even tougher.

Shame that he hasn't flown it in two years though. He didn't mention why, but I'm guessing maybe health related? Or maybe just the cost in keeping a plane airworthy? 

Anyway, this is great.

 

I'm not a plane aficionado, but I am a little obsessed with Spitfires and Lancasters.

Very cool story. You can tell he knows he needs to sell it.....but deep down does not want to. 

It also shows that having a passion for something helps you live longer.
