Pete68 Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 I know it may be a little earlier yet but with the Holidays around the corner lots of you will be very busy to post. So let’s see those Build’s you completed this year so far. Remember you still have time to post until Midnight December 31, 2024. I’ll Kick us off. This was probably the most successful year for me Completing Models that wasn’t finished. 7
Jim B Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 As far as "Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment", I'll keep the 1/32 Scale Theme going. I finished up three this year: Monogram 1980 Mack R600 & Fruehauf Tank Trailer (since these were in the same box, is this one or two? 🤔) Revell 1982 Fruehauf Reefer Trailer (1987 Kenworth T600A was built in 2008): Light year for heavy trucks for me. 8

Jim thanks for sharing those beautiful 1/32 trucks. That T-600 with the new Revell Reefer looks right at home hooked to it. I’m still looking forward to your 1/32 Chevy Bison and no I haven’t forgot 😂. 1 1

Jürgen M. Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 (edited) Do refurbished ones count too or only new ones? Just in case, I'll post only the new ones! All completely printed (except for tires, air lines, antennea) 352 Pete day cab beer truck: 4100 IH Conco: K100 with belly dump trailer ("Lizard Tongue" from Convoy!): and a 1960 Autocar DC75T I also refurbished my Mack DM800 and the R.D. You might have to wait a while for the Bison as the bench is pretty much closed down until Spring as I can really spray paint due to the cold. It'll get done though! 1

Jürgen M. Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 OK, since refurbished ones count too, here are the ones from `24: My Mack RS700L "Rubber Duck" got a new hood and bullbar (tiltable), new front wheels and the original "Rubber Duck" on the hood! And this Mack DM800, which was more than boring out of the box, not painted, got a new look! New paint job, new bumper with a winch, new stack and decals: and of course my newest refurbished project, the recently finished Pete 359 which made a metamorphosis from a not very cool camper to a pretty cool tanker truck (my opinion) with a brand new trailer! 9
