Mr.1/16th Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Good evening guys it’s been a while since I was on here but I have been building and working on my collection and I finally finished my 1/16th scale California Dragster I been working on for about 11 months. 9
Brandon17 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) Awesome build! I have this kit started but it is stalled at the moment. Are those the plug wires from the kit or did you use something different? Another question what color did you use inside the air scoop? Edited January 24 by Brandon17
Mr.1/16th Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 thank you! for the scoop i used a flat red from testor's and the wires i used from another dragster kit I had. This kit I had to start all over with new decals as the ones it came with ripped on me while laying them down! t was hell to make them lay flat and hug shapes even with decal set. The Rear rims i got from my club brother Paul Mendoza and I sprayed them with the Testors chrome paint and had gto wait over a week for them to dry. Even the side wing i painted with the chrome paint and waited for them to dry to.
Codi Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Welcome and thanks for sharing Santiago. I'll be sure to check out your links and other builds and congrats on a nicely done car. cheers, tim 1 1
