I have picked up another AMT 57 kit to do a kit bash with an AMT 56 kit but haven't tried it yet. I will in the future. The 57 I built last year I did a lot of modification and scratch building to make it look right but it is still using the chassis for the 57 that lets it down if you look underneath. I suspect it is going to take some work as they are put together quite differently.

If anyone is interested I did just start a YouTube channel this past week and posted videos of some of my completed builds like this one. One type of which is in motion rotating on a display stand lit and unlit, opened and closed.
