Dingo Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 AFter opening my Revell Neoplan Cityliner kit I got out the intructions ans a piece of paper fell out, after looking at what it had to say I found a point in it where we are according to these instructions breaking one of the rules they set out and that is and I quote, " Do not use any equipment which has not been supplied with the set or recommended in the instructions for use" half the gear we use is not in the instructions so does that mean we are all putting pourselves ind anger of serve injury or has some Germany person in the world of model manufature want us all to go back to graa roots and build only what they want, it begs the point what's the use of modifying, customizing & whatever else we do in a hobby that keeps some of us out of the local pub and others from smoking ourselves silly ?? . I do know it's only a recommendation BUT it does make you think. Dingo

george 53 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 or inkprint the instructions on chamis so you really can't hurt yourself! Also, they'll remove the parts from the runners so you won't cut/hurt yourself removeing them! Then someone will come over to your house and BUILD it for you, so you can't blame THEM for a difficult to build kit!!!
