RodBurNeR Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 I guess it's about time I finished this one. I started it two years ago and lost interest because like most of us, I kept getting inspired by something else to start on! I started with a fresh kit that I got from a good friend in a trade. (before anyone asks, I let him keep the other parts since I just wanted to build the box art model). I used decals by Gooche and I don't know if they are available anywhere since he quit making decals. Without a long read....this was fun to build and I hope you like it! FYI....I painted the turn signals after photos...oops ALL PHOTOS... http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc...uchtone-terror/
Foxer Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 WoW! The box surprised me more than the great looking build! Didn't know that Red terror came in basic white.
george 53 Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Bob, I remember buyin that kit JUST FOR THE PHONE BOOTH! I had a coupla of the LRW's but that Phone booth got me! I wish I still had it! Foxman, it was JUST like the LRW but it came with a few extra goodies for the Phone Co. version. Oh, an it was white!
RodBurNeR Posted May 2, 2009 Author Posted May 2, 2009 (edited) Ya know, I was telling myself I will never build another one of these lastnight. On second thought I might just build the Little Red Wagon kit .*not anytime soon though* Thanks for the comp's! Edited May 2, 2009 by awbcrazy
Randy Kern Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I love all the wheelstanders, and this one looks great, just like the box art! Beautiful job, Bob. Did you build the booth, also?
RodBurNeR Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 thank you guys! Randy, when I made the trade I let my buddy keep the booth , phone accessories and stuff.....I would never have used it and he would....I just wanted to build the TTT wheelstander.

noname Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Looks really sharp. Looks nice displayed with the box too.

diymirage Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 very nice i like it reminds me i have a half finished L700 in the closet i was gonna finish it but i got inspired to do something else i believe anyway, a little idea that i had, you might enjoy, im building a ford pickup that has a build flathead and i am planning on making some off the line shots with the front end 2-3 foot of the ground anyway, what i am planning to do is cut a little piece of metal that i can palce in the bed behind the rear axle in order to ofset the balance of the truck to lift the front end if you have acces to barstock you should try it, it might look better then the black rod that props it op right now just a thougt though
