Hi guys,

This was a model I was initially interested in building after seeing some photographs online while I was building the blue Tamiya R34. There are differences in between the two models, and it seems the Aoshima model is more similar to the real car. The interior is well-made on both models, and the Tamiya model has a much better-detailed chassis.

The final photographs

Screaming yellow! This one's spot on. Very nice.

Hi John, I found the yellow color much more interesting than the typical blue. Both colors look great on this model. Thanks so much for your comment.

I have the Tamiya release of the R 34 and was wondering what colour to paint it in. After looking at your excellent build, I think I’ll go with the lightning yellow. Top stuff, thanks for sharing. 👍🏻

It is an excellent  build, those wheels imo don't suit the R34 though!

I know what you mean by Tamiya underbody detail, its excessive considering nobody looks underneath!  I'd rather have an engine bay tbh.

Hi Atin, the first photo is of a real car, so I only replicated it on my model. It would be great if Tamiya included an engine. Regards.
