KevinCarroll Posted May 14 Posted May 14 This old broken down military (armor, jet aircraft) modeler wanted a change of pace so I figured I'd give this cool kit a try. Tried to keep it simple - went 'curbside' as far as the engine and used only Tamiya spray cans for the white and blue. Managed to forget the roof marker lights and vent windows (!) but nevertheless had a fun time with this very enjoyable kit. My hat is off to all the great modelers on this site! 19
ncbuckeye67 Posted May 15 Posted May 15 That looks really nice! I need to get myself one of those kits.
espo Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Great looking build. Like the way you finished the bed, tires and other parts to represent a vehicle that is in use.
stavanzer Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Great Job on the Wrecker! The Blue / White paint is perfect. Good Show.
Dragline Posted May 31 Posted May 31 You brought your skills with you and they served you well. Really nice build.
1930fordpickup Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Looks great. If you didn't mention the can lights we would not have known.
meechum68 Posted June 1 Posted June 1 I have this in my stash, and this is a great build!! I like the two tone instead of a solid color for the cab and bed.

My brother who used to live in Manhattan and also drove a cab there says the colors eerily remind him of NYPD tow trucks! (And thanks to all for the nice comments, really appreciated). 1
