this is a vintage mpc annual
i swapped out the dash with a resin printed right hand drive one
i swapped the original kit engine with a modern 392 hemi from a older build
i used a set of resin printed modern dodge rims with some tire from my parts boxes
i painted the body a base coat of rust-oleum 2x gloss white with a top coat of eastup high performance wheel paint pearl flash white
i painted the interior rust-oleum 2x flat black primer
i posed a resin printed figurine of me next to the drivers side door

Cool build. Old school stance with modern wheels, and the engine swap. I like the idea. 👍👍

thank you

thank you i am glad someone got the reference
it is ment to be a tribute to the 97 vanishing point tv movie and the song i chose is a reference to the year of the car since i do believe the actual song came out in 70
no i don't live in new zealand but i would love to live in australia as i love that country
as for the right hand drive conversions it is cause i think the right hand drive layout looks the best and is the most logical design and the fact i am left handed

i found it interesting in the movie they claimed the challenger was doing 180 when it hit the barricade and had over 200 bullet holes in it but no body was found
if it was a un modified factory stock 440 magnum which is what the challenger had in it then there was no way that it could even do 180 and there was never any mention of a turbo or super charger on it  and that would have been the only way it could even get that speed
but i think if a challenger had a 392 hemi it would easily make it to that speed without any extra mods

Just a movie but a good one! the original it is a Camaro that crashes into the dumpster at the end....the street HEMI wing cars never got above 155mph...Challenger 140 max.
