Leica007 Posted June 21 Posted June 21 The Fall contest is for Hot/Street Rods 1948 and older with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies. Non-competitive show is open to other vehicles. The club sponsors two shows a year, in March and September with different themes. Currently there is no entry fee. Entrants and visitor vote to choose the winners. See the flyer for more details and for more info, contact me or the names on the flyer. Hope to see you there. I'll post photos after the contest
Leica007 Posted 10 hours ago Author Posted 10 hours ago The fall show was bigger than our spring event, we had 51 entries for the show, 10 models in the Cruise In display table, and over 40 people including some from another club who awarded plaques to vehicles they chose. The voting was close with only 1 vote difference between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Unfortunately we didn't have any junior entries. Thanks for looking, hope you enjoy the photos, try to guess the winners, and comments are welcome. First photos are overall table shots. This is some of the Cruise In table models Here are some individual entries. Here are the winning entries: Third Place is an entry that was made to compete in a military competition (the owner only builds model cars so he entered this) Randy Litwiller, Rommel Rat Rod carrier w/ VW Second place is based on "The Green Ghost" with many details from the book built by Lei Cannon, 40 Willys First Place winner (also winner of the spring show) Jack Brejc with his highly detailed 32 Ford 3 window. He chopped the top 3 inches, added Eddie Myers flathead engine, photo etched grille and many other added details, worked on this for 6 months Thanks again for looking. See you next spring.
