It's going to be a real standout beautiful, box stock build!

Despite all the problems, you've pushed through with a real modeller's skill.

When something isn't right, YOU fix it!

That's great modelling!

Looking good, unfortunate that Murphy stopped by for a visit. I'm really liking that color combination

Mrs. Murphy did this one.  And she's a mean, mean woman with no sense of humor (like Wifey 🤣)

I’m sure a few other choice words came out when this happened.  I do agree with John, the colours look great together.  Hope you get to other side of this - you have more patience than me.

Actually, I consider myself an impatient person, hence the masking tape mishap but who knew.  I'll give it a week to cure more and then try to feather it out and try out my new Iwata to do the paint. I get a nice break at the trunk line. The damage on the backlight trim is going to need some very careful sanding but I think I can fix it.  Solid colors are easy enough to repair. 😕.  We shall see.

Thanks for your encouragement,  Dennis.

This little paint problem I'm facing is a test of that. I will not put the body in the pond.  Yet.  It looks like a do-able repair. I could be wrong, though, but it's worth a try. If it doesn't work out, I have another body I can use and this one will become a weathering project 😉.

What a righteous build you have here. Lindberg was really giving the big 2 fits at this time

Releasing great kits with accurate features of great subjects. You are nailing this one!

No jest Sir. And stop calling me Shirley.

Think about the timeline. The 66 Chevelle. The Chrysler Atlantic. Those Monster trucks like the Rammunition. There were a lot of things they were doing right at that time. Someone else chime in on the kits I forgot.

I have the Chevelle kit. It looks pretty good. Bob.  😅

The Chevelle is an awesome kit and fills a niche you wouldn't expect in terms of kitted muscle. All there really was, was Monograms tilt nose. And it is as good as anything Monogram or Revell we're doing.

Jim, it WILL work out, try it and if you fail, try again, you'll learn a new skill and next time, you won't even hesitate to fix one when that happens and it does, to all of us!

You've got this man, you can do it!

That's a very positive attitude, Bob, thanks. I plan to try a repair. Till I run out of Glacier Blue. 🥴
