Absolutely!!! First off this is an old technique. I glue strips on for the moldings and seams. I lightly sand the seam strips to soften the edges up. Then I mask off whatever I don’t want textured. I use SEM brand lacquer in a rattle can to spray the roof. I hold the can back 2 feet from the model and dust light coats on. Let dry about five minutes between coats keep dusting coats on until you like the way it looks. Usually about eight gray dusting coats will do it. I hate the masking tape method it looks clunky to me. And it can start popping up down the road. 2 1
