Dingo Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 This is now being built as a hotrod complete with hi-rise sleeper, supercharged V8, forward tilt hood instead of the norm and a few extras that I haven't thought of as yet. Dingo
Foxer Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Now that's a wonderful concept! The darn thing looks right!
Kostas Parchas Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 :o :o :o That is very cool project. Nice colors too, will you add yellow stripes to the body? keep as posted Kostas.
Dingo Posted May 11, 2009 Author Posted May 11, 2009 Kostas, no it will be as is. Here R a couple of photos of wot it will look like when it's finished. Neat little rig. All chrome master blaster motor for the little rig. Dingo
airhorn Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Holy ######...seems like you had this idea posted on another forum at one time. Where you going to run the stack...out the top of the hood? More horsepower that way. Win
Dingo Posted May 12, 2009 Author Posted May 12, 2009 (edited) Yes Win I did run it on another forum as you say and I decided to go with it after so many on that forum said I should do it good on hey??, It's a hotrod not a tractor pull machine it's suppose to be road legal and pipes thru the bonnet wouldn't allow that, I'm also doing this as a bit of fun and relief from building my coach as that is a big project and has to be put aside due to not having the money to buy more bits & pieces for it ie: furniture etc. Dingo Edited May 12, 2009 by Dingo
Dingo Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 TomA the kit wheels are not the final wheels for it I'm looking at putting some nice car type rims & tyres on it, anywa here's some more photos and the bonnet is fixed in position now. Dingo
mrglubaum Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Interesting! I'll have to watch this one and see how it turns out! Lee
Dingo Posted May 22, 2009 Author Posted May 22, 2009 GUys to see how to one turned out please go to the workbench and see what is now happening to it. Sorry guys no longer like this too many objections from other people that it's a waste of a good kit. Dingo

Geez, what a boring hobby this would be if everybody built straight out of the box! Besides, the Mack is supposed to be reissued this year, everybody can stock up on them! Lee
Jim B Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Revell USA is supposed to reissie the 1926 Mack? That's great news! I like this "old" truck.
misterNNL Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Very unique build.I agree with those that say you should build for yourself.Anyone that does not like what you choose to build is the one with a problem....not you.
