fiatboy Posted July 3 Posted July 3 It's called: "Krylon Fusion 'Gloss Patriotic blue'. It is no. 2716. At least, it looks close to me.
maxwell48098 Posted July 3 Posted July 3 I've used this since my original can of "Ford Engine blue" from Eastwood ran out. I can't tell the difference. A.J.
ranma Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Didn't Ford use different shades of blue on engines at times?? I mean you could buy a Ford Galaxie 500, and a guy in the neighborhood buys a Galaxie 500 a couple months later and his engine is a lighter shade of blue that your car has. Yet they are the same make, Model, and year. 1
bobss396 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 I use Tamiya TS23 for early Ford engines, their darker blue for later stuff.
gtx6970 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 (edited) I was in Home Depot the other day and spotted this Is it dead on? probably not But . close enough for me I used Duplicolor early Ford blue for my 67 GTX build. And IMO its a little too dark Edited July 8 by gtx6970 1

FORD BLUE: There are at least 3 different blues that have been used on Ford engines, depending on era of manufacture.
