Chuck Most Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I've built many of the 1992-96 style AMT Ford F-150s- the Flareside, Styleside, Lightning, and longbed versions. All these had the standard cab. I could have sworn I built one around 1994 or therabouts that had the Super Cab (extended). I've never seen one since. Did AMT produce such an animal, or is this just a figment of my imagination?

Clay Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 You got this Revell 1997 Extended Cab, or Revell Harley Davidson (I want this one)
Chuck Most Posted May 13, 2009 Author Posted May 13, 2009 This was definitely the '96- down body style. It may be that I'm thinking about the Monogram version, but I remember it being done in gray plastic. Then again, I was 12 at the time, too. Maybe this gloo is eating my brain. I know it wasn't anything resin... my discovery of THAT medium was still nearly a decade off at that time!
Rob Hall Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I believe AAM did one in resin, along with a crew cab...probably 15 years ago. Monogram did a SuperCab, but that was an F250 and F350 of the '87-91 style.
Art Anderson Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I believe AAM did one in resin, along with a crew cab...probably 15 years ago. Monogram did a SuperCab, but that was an F250 and F350 of the '87-91 style. AAM did the '91 F350 Crew Cab, along with a Dually bed, 1-ton truck wheels & tires, and the extended chassis, for the Monogram F350 Supercab kit. That was done in 1993, and fewer than 40 were ever sold--just not that popular. Art
