This one fought me all the way. It was 2 steps forward and 1 step back. Just when I thought I was doing a good job I screwed something else up. It’s out of box with the front grill opened up and the louvers thinned. Also added door locks and adjusting bolts on the spoiler pedestals. I’m considering doing another one with the lessons learned. Not happy with the way it turned out but I figured I’d post some pics anyway.

From my vantage it looks great. But we are our own worse critics.

Beautiful Mustang.  Very well done.

Thanks guys. Looks better on my phone than it did on my laptop.
Appreciate the compliments.

It can be quite annoying when builds don't turn out the way you envisioned. I have quite a few in boxes, relegated to the rebuild queue. Your Boss Mustang has some great details and I would be interested to see how your second attempt turns out.

Yep. While it didn’t turn out horribly it’s not what I was trying to achieve. I guess that’s what happens when you’re inspired by some of the incredible builds on this site.

Most Excellent. I have one on my shelf. What did you have problems with?

Mostly as they say “ the error was between the seat and the keyboard “. The kit is very nice. I just kept screwing things up. One thing I’ll do if I try another one is to glue the nose to the body before I paint it. Other than that just bleed through on my masking.

Great looking Boss 302 there. 👍🏻 I like the way you have opened the grille up, looks much more realistic and something I wished I’d done when l built mine. Yes, do attach the nose to the body and paint it as one unit when you build another, worked for me and chassis still goes in nicely.

No one here on this sight judges you, just keep on building your way and enjoy. I'm looking forward to seeing what you build next.😊👍

Very true. Nothing but support and encouragement here. I’m my own worst critic. As for my next build.
