This is a 3d model I got from A-1 Raceworks. A decent kit where everything fit together nicely except for the wheels and tires. I've had the same problem with other 3d models from different providers where the wheels won't slide into the tires and you have to spend LOTS of time scraping the inside of the tire to get the wheel to fit.

Otherwise I had fun building it and added a few things; driver, front and rear bars, window and rear view mirror. Paint is Testors.

That's a great looking stocker you have. Curious as to what part of the country it would be from? We don't see to many street stockers with nurf bars around here.

On the tire issue, some designers tend to use the same ID for the tire as the OD of the wheel. Misfit every time. It takes work to figure out what the difference is and I guess some designers don't know how or aren't willing to make the calculations. It could be that they'd rather them be too tight and need to be sanded, than too loose and require adding styrene to take up the slack.

It's a complete kit. Chassis is all one piece with roll bar, suspension, etc. already put together. Nice and easy except it takes a lot of finesse to paint all the parts since they're already attached. I've done it before and I like it for a different challenge from our regular kits.

No idea what part of the country this car represents or if it is accurate. I thought it looked cool so got it. I spend way too much time researching the accuracy of race cars I build and sometimes I just want to relax and build one without fretting over the details.

This is Paul's Corvette modified kit. Very similar to the SS line.

I make the tires and wheels work .. it is a lot of work but worth it.

The downside is that the engine and chassis are complete and hard to detail. I used the AK acrylic pens with good success.

I have a SS Regal about 75%done. That came less the radiator. I had to make one up. That one I razor sawed the engine apart so it could be better detailed.

Overall they build up nicely. The bodies drop right on, very well located. I have the Monte Carlo SS kit, a Pinto modified and a Craftsman-ish truck kit.

He has more coming out, like a coupe early modified and some outlaw figure-8 cars.
