I inadvertently copied and pasted an E-Mail from my account on The Forum which gave everyone access to my E-Mail account.

Guys think before you copy and paste anything.

Can't you just edit that post and remove your email address?!  Post are left open for editing by the author for several days.

 

Also what exactly do you mean?  You posted your active email address or the password to login to access your email account?  While we try not to post our email addresses in open forums, I can guarantee that your email address has already been circulating in the Dark Web long before you posted it to the forum.

Mike.  Why not just bring it to Dave Ambrose's attention by a PM?

As he looks after this site he will probably be the best person to sort this out instead of relying on other posters advice.

I posted my actual E-Mail page. Anyone had access everything They could have sent E-Mails to my contacts, my doctors' offices signed me up for Porn Sites, Pedophile Sites and all sorts of nefarious stuff. I don't need the FBI kicking down my door looking for Disgusting Pedophile stuff

stichup took care of it. It may have been up for 10 minutes. I canceled my E-Mail account and now have new one. Norton checked for new viruses, hacking and then I wiped drivers, discs and my files. I forgot the term but now my computer is back to the day that I got it brand new.

Didn't we get a message that someone's Forum account got hacked and we had to do something regarding our accounts?

Anyway, all is good. Thank you for all of concern and comments
