Aerodsedan Posted Wednesday at 07:09 AM Posted Wednesday at 07:09 AM (edited) Were the wheels/tires from the AMT Baldwin Motion '70 Camaro available in any other kits? I know resin casters and 3D Printers have them available, but was curious about kit options. Edited Wednesday at 07:12 AM by Aerodsedan

Fat Brian Posted Wednesday at 05:00 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:00 PM The rear tires were used as fronts in the Big Al Thunderbird drag car with different wheels.
Cool Hand Posted Wednesday at 05:12 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:12 PM Although its 1/24, the Revell 78 El-Camino has a nice set of S/S Cragars.
Old Buckaroo Posted Wednesday at 08:22 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:22 PM (edited) AMT "Old Pro Nova" has Cragars, also the MPC 71 Demon comes with a set of 4 skinny ones, like the old "pizza cutters" that the old pro stocks and similar ran in the 70's. Edited Thursday at 12:35 AM by Old Buckaroo
Chris V Posted Wednesday at 08:55 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:55 PM If you mean the staggered offset Cragar wheels, the answer is no - They’re unique to this kit. Other kits have similar, but not identical mag wheels. If you’re referring to tires, the Firestone Wide Oval front tires are available in a multitude of AMT kits - especially those issued in the mid-late nineties. As another member has alteady pointed out, the Mickey Thompson rear tires have only appeared in one other kit: The “Allison Thunderland” late sixties’ T-bird. 1

Aerodsedan Posted Wednesday at 11:46 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 11:46 PM Thank you for the replies. I had a feeling these were unique to this kit. I have decided these are the only acceptable wheel/tire combo for a build that I have started. I'll have to bite the bullet and try to track a kit down. Have to have them on hand to set rear axle width.
