Some of the 3D printed stuff is wild: 1/6 scale Harley-Davidson engines

I’m getting a panhead and knucklehead from a guy in Japan. These things are little gems. He has models on Instagram that look like real motorcycles.

There is nothing "little" about 1:6 scale models. They are BIG gems!

But seriously, these do look like gems. Amazing what some people can design and 3D print on their own!  Just like what is happening with AI, easy access to advanced CAD and 3D printing has totally revolutionized the model hobbies.

I've got the same exact gas tank, full size, down to the emblems. Looks like he does great work. Probably much cheaper to build at  scale. I'll have to look into getting one. Thanks

Very nice! Great detail! I built these Testors Lincoln Mint Harleys many years ago. They're not well detailed, but big and look good on a shelf!

They arrived yesterday. They are indeed big gems. This is the panhead with a few parts dry fit. I also got transmissions for both engines…but I don’t know how they attach. I haven’t seen a clear photo of the two together. This guy is a wizard with his 3D prints. I can post more photos if anyone wants to see them.
