I wasn’t a fan of his music but I thate that he died he was an inspiration. He is the the fourth with the Malcom being first.

Me and my wife were given tickets 🎟 to one of his shows around 1984. Not our thing, but a good performance.

There are some musicians that can make an instrument "sing" and he was one of them. His music was nice to listen to.

I saw him once in concert and he put on a wonderful performance.  What impressed me the most was that he showcased each band member by letting them solo during the show.

Being a trumpet player I also saw one of his concerts, a loooooong time ago.   RIP!!
