Hizoot Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 With the final major body mod done, it's time to make another of my custom engines..! I must admit, it's been kind of fun doing these wild childs. I did a custom nitro burning V-16 hemi awhile back & told myself that would be IT..! Wrong, this time I don't want the hemi, so I took a block out of my parts box. At first I thought it was a Revell top fuel dragster block but it had a Lenco type trans on it; In any case, the Lenco got the ax & an AMT street trans found a new home. Next was those all important HUGE Brodex wedge heads from a Revell pro street kit. They have been cut down just a tad to fit the block but can still fill up ANY engine bay. No whimpy mills here, this custom job needs to have a wild induction system & I have one planned; Not the best angle to photo it from but it's a start & I'm pleased with the end result; I have a new (better) camera planned in the near future & will take close up photos soon as I complete my twin screw blower drive. The new mill fits like a glove & I've extended the front fenders down to drill out exhuast ports just in front of the rear fenders; That's all for now, Hizoot
Foxer Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 That engine looks like it was manufactured for that engine bay ...oh.. I guess it was! Looking beautiful
Dr. Cranky Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Absolutely beautiful body work, and to think that once the paint goes on on this bad boy, this is going to be a great build.
Fletch Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 More and More impressive all the time Big Jeff. Looks like another contender for the Best of the Best.

Scott Colmer Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Zooooooooot I see you pulled the skirt down a bit on the side. I like it better that way. The flow of the profile is nicer. The exhaust will be a nice touch. The mill looks good too. Keeeeeeeep buuuuildiiiing Scott
