Hoffman Posted Thursday at 12:21 AM Posted Thursday at 12:21 AM 1/24 Leo Models 1954 Lancia Aurelia B24 Spyder Wheels: Hatchette Pegaso Z102 narrowed, with knock-offs from a Heller Alfa Romeo 1750 Zagato. Tires: Spec Cast ’32 Ford Interior: Repainted from pinkish shade of red to dark green with dark green flocked carpet. Chrome: Molotow used for the windshield frame and tail light bezels. HVAC chrome duct tape for the rocker moldings. These B24 Spyders tend to sit a little high in the nose, so I set the model’s ride height to match. The disk wheels and hub caps it came with were perfectly fine, I just like the car even more with chrome wire wheels. The knock-offs from a Heller Alfa are about the right size, and proportional to the wheels, as compared to the full size Lancia. I know, they’re BIG, just like the real thing. Enjoy! 3
1959scudetto Posted Thursday at 08:53 AM Posted Thursday at 08:53 AM Very nice conversion, Tim - great to see something from you again. I have been thinking about the use of the Pegaso wheels for this one, too, keeping the cream version with the steel wheels and cionverting the silver one in a similar way.
Hoffman Posted Friday at 04:09 AM Author Posted Friday at 04:09 AM Great minds think alike, Helmut! 😄 1
Gramps46 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Oh yes! Very well done conversion. I had not seen this Lancia model before, is it fairly new?
