1948 FX Holden Gasser

Here is my completed 1948 FX Holden Gasser. It is mostly  3d resin printed by me, the only thing that wasn’t printed are the wheels and tyres. The front wheels are made to resemble very Rare John English mag wheels from the 60s in Australia. It is painted in SMS pearl white and Clear green over the top of it. Overall as my real first attempt at a 3d printed model there is much more to learn. The motor is a bare bones Holden 179 with a fuel injection manifold to resemble an alcohol powered car.

I agree, very cool!!!! I'm amazed what you 3D printer guys are doing these days. I retired from CAD use 9 yrs ago but maybe I need to reconsider my decision, looks like 3D printing may yet be the rule not the exception of scale modeling in the coming years.

Neat ‘O ! It kinda looks like a little bit Austin and Henry J . The paint work on that blue car in the background is incredible, and I love that green

Love this Holden! This year holden reminds me of a British Austin from the same era.
