Next up in my journey through AWB 65 mopars .I built this by combining the superb moebius a/fx 1965 golden commands Plymouth kit with a resin sedan body from joe Curtis at freemont resin . I used a set of rear wheels from my parts stash that closely resemble the chrome howards wheels as seen in some of the reference photos. I don’t know of any kits that had exact copies of these wheels. Years ago you could get resin ones from modelhaus. I’m pretty sure they had these rims left over from the previous years comet as ford and mopar use the same bolt pattern. I also flipped the front spindles to raise the stance slightly as in most reference photos with the paper tiger hard top it looks like the paper tiger 2 sat just a little higher in the front end . I took a couple of side by side photos to show the comparison. The paint colors are my usual Sox & Martin trio of Tamyia white , Italian red with testors star spangled blue lacquers topped with Tamyia clear . Decals are by slixx . These freemont resin bodies are very good fit I’ve built several so far and have only had to do a little filing around the top of the firewall and the out side edge of the interior door panels. I highly recommend them . Until next time thanks for looking, mikeIMG_5381.jpeg.d8f75ad24c4c78de36e6cabd01545415.jpegIMG_5384.jpeg.19def9aabcb749d5cd1123b2ca24d8a0.jpegIMG_5382.jpeg.17e580f0552db388e9d0e467c56db8f2.jpegIMG_5385.jpeg.aa6d719c2eb333c4870e94622d72b980.jpegIMG_5383.jpeg.39590966dac0e70b0c0dccb78c192531.jpegIMG_5391.jpeg.816826ef419ad024b2c5f3a1f42f5d86.jpegIMG_5387.jpeg.31ee2ff36a24f48d861410f27ac71a77.jpegIMG_5361.jpeg.33afef863ad93551f00f37646bb838a8.jpegIMG_5366.jpeg.94c2e4a136be36d1fcd664b9d9f50945.jpegIMG_5388.jpeg.5d48ea469373e4269e567235e1073a67.jpegIMG_5365.jpeg.a32e872d922cca33013fa8807c130a34.jpegIMG_5353.jpeg.892622095651bbc3f91567e7c58d24a5.jpeg

If Ronnie was alive he would certainly be amazed and humbled at the work you and others have been doing lately on this forum.

Sure looks the part.  Having the magazine in the background is a treat in and of its self.
