jjsipes Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Taking a break to prep and paint something since the weather has turned beautiful here. AMT 1960 Ford Starliner. Started with Tamiya White Primer, Tamiya Black on the roof and Testors Tropical Turquoise Laqcuer on the body. Clear is Tamiya. Started looking at doing the Bare-metal trimthis evening. Dug out a set of Whitehall and 5 spoke mags out of the Dodge A100 pickup. 15
DJMar Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Very nice! Lots of BMF work on this one. Also, the whitewalls and 5 spokes are killer.
jjsipes Posted September 6 Author Posted September 6 Making some progress. Chassis just about completed. Working on interior. 4

espo Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Like the smooth looking body with just a little trim removed from the trunk and front fenders. The paint colors and finish are eye catching.
mcs1056 Posted Wednesday at 02:03 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:03 PM I like the turqouise. I painted a body with color matching aerosol from the local auto parts store. The metal flake looks huge on the kit. Yours looks much closer to scale. Love the 60 Starliner. I had a Sunliner, but always liked that roof more than the 'vert.
customline Posted Wednesday at 03:44 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:44 PM Seconded. That paint is wicked nice. 😛
Joe Lange Posted Thursday at 07:50 PM Posted Thursday at 07:50 PM Great looking build. Super color combination!
